Who Can Join the PADI Assistant Instructor Course?

According to PADI standards, the PADI Assistant Instructor course is open to candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a PADI Divemaster certification (or an equivalent leadership level recognized by PADI)
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have valid Emergency First Response (Primary and Secondary Care) training within the last 24 months
  • Having a signed health report stating fitness for diving
  • Being ready to develop teaching skills and progress to instructor level training

What is the PADI Assistant Instructor Course?
