Sunk off Dove Island in 2017 to enhance Kaş’s underwater appeal, the retired 45-ton M48 army tank is one of the most intriguing spots in shallow waters.
Its location at a depth of only 5-7 meters makes it accessible even for snorkelers and those doing trial dives (Discovery). While the tank’s barrel, tracks, and turret still maintain their imposing presence, schools of small fish swimming around breathe life into the metal structure.
Posing on the tank will be one of the most popular memories of your Kaş diving holiday. Additionally, groupers and soldierfish can often be observed in the reefs immediately adjacent to the tank.
