Shown among the few dive sites in the world, the Canyon has become the symbol of Kas. This natural formation, stretching between two steep walls and opening to the deep blue, offers a unique excitement for experienced divers.
In the depths of the canyon, colorful corals and sponges clinging to the walls create a visual feast. The Dimitri (Pamuk) Wreck, located right at the entrance of the canyon, consists of the remains of a cargo ship that ran aground in 1968 and is an indispensable object for underwater photographers.
The living population is quite diverse. Large groupers, schools of barracuda and, on lucky days, amberjacks are frequently seen in this region. Due to the cave and canyon structure, it is generally suitable for divers with advanced certification.
